Unit 3: Research Techniques for Creative Media Notes 20\09\19

Audience Research: Is the looking at how your specific target audiences are taking in media sources and to take in knowledge of what these targeted audiences' attitudes, opinions and behaviours. These audiences can be assigned to different groups like, age, gender, ethnicity and the size of the audience etc... 

Market Research: Finding out about similar product in the market that you are in so you can use their experiences to benefit, as well as your competition where and what are they doing and where they are doing it from. You also want to find out if the market is profitable and what the market looks like. Lastly, what the potential cost, loss and revenue will be going into the market.

Production Research: This will give you the content and material to make the product and investigate what resources and technology you will need to make the product and find suitable locations to produce the content and lastly, to plan what steps you need to take to produce and make sure after production things are still running accordingly.
